Galleries
Get involved. Showcase your best images.
What should I post in my gallery?
The site features individual images of entourage elements to be used in composition. Please do not post entire compositions to your gallery but rather individual images of trees, shrubs, people, site furnishings etc...
Only completely finished work should be posted in your gallery. If you'd like to receive input on a work in progress feel free to post your work in the Instructional content –
work in progress
forum.
Please view your gallery as a portfolio- not a place to dump images.
The management of Graphic Sketchbook chooses which of your works will be shown. For the most part, we'll allow you to post any work that you wish as long as the artwork is complete. However we will not display any work that includes graphic sexual or violent content or racially bias content.
Your images must be your own work. Do not scan work out of a graphics book and expect to sell it on the site.
All images must be submitted at 300DPI and no bigger than a sheet of notebook paper (8.5x11). Generally most images do not need to be larger than 4”x6”. Most plan view symbols are drawn at 1” = 10’ scale. See file types accepted upon upload.
Graphic Sketchbook reserves the right to decline the posting of any art work that is submitted.
Posting on the Forum
Looking for input on your latest work of art? Or have graphic questions? Then please get involved in our Forums. Perhaps you're a sensational illustrator; your expertise is greatly appreciated in the forum. The forum is a great place to learn and share ideas.
We expect all forum members to treat each other with respect. Rather then posting detailed rules our members are asked to conduct themsleves professionally
Contests and Competitions
Each month we try to hold a contest to challenge our members. Each contest held will have a cash prize awarded to the winner of the contest. The contest holder will set the contest prize amount and select the contest winner. Contest holders will be charged a 10% administration fee in addition to the prize amount. This fee will be reinvested in Graphic Sketchbook to make the contests better and more rewarding to our community winners. If you are an architect, designer, or developer interested in hosting a contest click the
contest tab
above for more information.
